Your profile

You are a student at a university or at a university of applied sciences in the subject area of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, regenerative energy. engineering science, chemistry, physics or process engineering.

Your practically relevant and theoretically well-founded doctoral thesis or degree dissertation deals with photovoltaics or any related area of system technology, nanotechnology, general energy technology, crystallography etc...

Your dissertation, either in German or English, must be written between June 2009 and June 2010. Closing date for your application is 30th June 2010.

The Jury

A jury constituted by SolarWorld AG will decide about the award of the Prize. The jury’s decision is final.

Application procedure

In order to be considered for the SolarWorld Junior Einstein Award, you must first fill up the application and upload your CV and an expose (each a max. of 2 pages) of your dissertation as a zip file. The jury will narrow down the choice based on the expose.

The junior researchers who have been shortlisted will be requested to submit their complete dissertation or thesis to the SolarWorld.

Note: However, if your documents are incorrect or not complete, we cannot consider you for the SolarWorld Junior Einstein Award.

Closing date

If you meet the requirements for the SolarWorld Junior Einstein Award, apply with an expose of your dissertation with our application form by the end of June 2010.
